When my daughter Ruthie was 5, she requested an update on the song I wrote for her baby naming, “Wherever You Will Go.” She suggested using lyrics from “Sunrise, Sunset,” which I loved singing to her, as well as the phrase “deep in my heart.” I gave the song to her as a Chanukah present in December 2017, and she danced around our living room in the Facebook video debut of the song.
